Project:  A Proposal to Replace an Existing Box Culverts at Sungai Guntong of Jalan Lahat for Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh, Ipoh, Perak D.R.

(Cadangan Menggantikan Kelubong Sediada Yang Merentangi Sungai Guntong Di Jalan Lahat, Ipoh, Untuk Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh, Ipoh, Perak D.R.)

Structure Type: Single span 20m x 20m wide UHPdC integral beam-deck system.

Superstructure Feature: 13 pieces of DURA® TBG875-20m

Substructure Feature: 600mm diameter spun piles

Loading Type: Full HA + 45HB loadings (BD37/01)

Contractor: Unipoh Construction Sdn Bhd

Construction Status: Completed

Hacking of existing dual-cell culvert (16/06/10).
Original site.
Mould preparation for DURA TBG875-20m.
No Shear reinforcement in any part of the precast beam.
Concreting Dura beam (29/09/10)
Mock up assembly of Dura TBG875 beams.
Dura beams at factory ready for delivery.
Main water pipe diversion completed.
Piling work in progress (10/08/2012).
Completion of RC abutments (03/01/2013).
Beam launching using a 120t mobile crane (19/01/2013).
Beam lauching completed within a day.
Completion of bridge structure.
