Senior Officer Conference 2014 at Port Dickson
11th June Port Dickson, Senior officer conference was held at Port
Dickson. YAB Datuk Fadillah Yusof (Minister of Work) and Datuk Ir. Annies Md Ariff (JKR General Director) attended the exhibition and held the opening ceremony. This exhibition was very successful as Adj. Prof. Dr. Ir. Voo ( Director of Dura Technology Sdn Bhd) proudly presented the completed 52m longest single span bridge made in Malaysia with Ultra High Performance ‘ductile’ Concrete (UHPdC) with no center pier in the river at Rantau-Siliau. Besides that, YAB Datuk Fadillah Yusof (Minister or Work) visited Dura Technology’s booth and Adj. Prof Dr. Ir. Voo introduced the latest
concrete technology, the Ultra High Performance ‘ductile’ Concrete (UHPdC).

UHPC Lecture During ACI-KL Chapter Annual Dinner and EGM

9th of January, The American Concrete Institute ACI-KL Chapter held an annual dinner and emergency general meeting at PJ Crystal Crown Hotel. The night was an enjoyable one where the participants was entertained with various activities such a splendid buffet dinner was served, then come with an hour lecture by the CEO of Dura Technology S/B Ir Dr Voo on "The New Dimension of Concrete Technology - Ultra High Performance Concrete Technology". The event was concluded with lucky draws and some game sessions.
Rantau-Siliau Bridge Open to Traffic

At a contract cost of nearly RM6.5 million, the Rantau-Siliau Bridge eventually completed and officially opened to traffic at 28th Dec 2013. This is a 52 meters long single span bridge, come with a full width of 18.3 meters with 4 carriageway lanes. This new bridge is made of the latest technology of ultra high performance ductile concrete, with no central pier in the river. To date, it is the longest single span UHPDC composite bridge built in Malaysia.
