Adj. Prof. Dr. Ir. Voo Yen Lei was invited by The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) Kelantan in partnership with Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR) Kelantan to give a technical talk on Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC) Bridges. This is one of the first technical talks held at Jabatan Kerja Raya (JKR), Kota Bahru, Kelantan Darul Naim on 20^th December 2015. There were 45 participants ranging from top management officers to design engineers including Public Works Director, Ir. Hj. Razani bin Ab Lazid and Honorary Secretary of IEM Kelantan, Ir Meor Shamshir bin Meor Zulkefli Auni.


The objective of Dura Technology Sdn. Bhd. in conducting the talk on Ultra-High Performance Concrete is to educate about UHPC and to create an understanding on its applications as to how it can be more sustainable compared to current technology. The technical talk ended with a Q & A session with the participants followed by an afternoon tea session. All in all, the technical talk was well received by the audience.
