The First 18 UHPC Pedestrian Bridges in China Completed Within Two Months

On October 23, as the Xiangtan Furong Avenue rapid transformation project (Xiangtan section) and the Tanzhou Avenue rapid transformation project (Xiangtan section) opened to traffic, a total of 18 UHPC pedestrian bridges on the two rapid transformation project avenues will become both sides of the avenue a convenient bridge for citizens to travel.The 11 UHPC pedestrian bridge projects were jointly completed by Hunan ZhungLu Huacheng Bridge Technology Co., Ltd. and ZhungLu-Dura International Engineering Co., Ltd. The early UHPC beams were prefabricated by ZhungLu-Dura’s Guangdong Jiangmen UHPC R&D and production base, and then shipped to ZhungLu Hua Cheng Xiangtan UHPC R&D and production base is spliced, stretched and transported to the site for erection.

This paragraph lake state on the road to set up a total of seven UHPC pedestrian bridge, also completed by the Hunan Road, Hua Cheng Qiaoliang Technology Co., Ltd. and ZhungLu-Dura International Engineering Co., Ltd.
Handover Ceremony for Project- Bridge at Lambor Crossing Sungai Perak

PERAK, 17 SEPTEMBER 2020- Handover ceremony has taken place at Lambor Bridge start with singing the national anthem of Malaysia, Negaraku and Negeri Perak. The ceremony was completed by Y.Brs. Tuan Haji Roslan B. Abd Ghani and YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Syed Omar Sharifuddin. Also present in this ceremony were officers from Perak Tengah Public Works Department, District Engineer, contractors, consultant, and other related officers. Following that, before the speech from Director of JKR Perak, a video montage of the project was screened. It shows the amazing journey to build the bridge, which is 410m long, installation of street furniture and street lights using solar, utility transfer, and the completion of the bridge. The Director of Ministry of Public Works, Hj. Roslan B. Abd Ghani has mentioned this project is to reduce traffic congestion in Pekan Batu Gajah. He congratulated JKR Perak Tengah, Everfine Resources Sdn Bhd, and to those responsible party for successfully completed this project.Furthermore, this project provide benefits not only to social, but also for business purposes in order to shorten the journey and save time to travel from Lambor Kiri to Lambor Kanan. This is because of Administrative Centre is located at Lambor Kanan so that it would be easier for the people to travel, as was stated by, Chief Secretary in KKR (Kementerian Kerja Raya).
In the long run, hopefully this project could give positive outcome and contributes to the well-being and comfort of life of the population. We would like to congratulate all the parties involved in ensuring that the project can be completed and submitted to the client successfully.

The workshop is organised by Indian National Group of the IABSE. IABSE was set up in May 1957, under the patronage of the Government of India, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways with active participation of engineers and professionals from the public and private sector as well as research and academic institutions. In a general sense, UHPC has proven to be particularly relevant in applications where conventional solutions are lacking.In 2017, Dura went into China and took a 20% stake in a joint-venture firm called ZhongLu-Dura International Engineering Co Ltd, where it would contribute its technological know-how.On November 16, 2019 , ZhongLu-Dura precast factory officially launches the factory by the chairman of ZhongLu-Dura International Engineering Co. Ltd (中路杜拉国际工程有限公司) Mr. Mao Zhi Jian (毛志坚). During the opening, there are many products display like an exhibition for the distinguished guest and other visitor to study the materials of the product.
