WILMINGTON, DELAWARE, USA, 7 June 2023 – Dura Technology Sdn Bhd recently awarded Best Innovation in Infrastructure – Major Bridge at the Third International Interactive Symposium on Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC), Wilmington, Delaware, USA, this award organized by The IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY to recognize creativity and highlight excellence in UHPC design, manufacture, or placement in the categories of Buildings or Infrastructure and additional categories the Judges deem appropriate.Dura Technology is tremendously proud to win the award for constructing the Setiawangsa-Pantai Expressway (SPE) Kuala Lumpur that was completed in 2022. Built with the state-of-art technology, the Best Innovation (Infrastructure) – Major Bridge Award was handed to Dura’s CEO, Dr. Voo Yen Lei. The award winners were selected by a panel of judges which are extremely experienced in the field of the industry. The Ultra High Performance Concrete Innovation Awards celebrate the implementation and exemplary use of Ultra High-Performance Concrete (UHPC) in buildings, structures, and non-structural applications. Awards presented for innovative technologies and progressive practices by architects, engineers, project owners and materials specialists to promote excellence in design, craftsmanship in fabrication and construction of UHPC elements.This award is also presented for a project which Dura Technology completed Setiawangsa-Pantai Expressway (SPE) in year of 2022. The project succeeds with 26 spans in total of 55 to 70 meter each a long the 1.5 kilometer highway.
