KUALA LUMPUR, October 2026 — We participated in the 13th Malaysian Road Conference & Exhibition (MRC 2026), held from 13 to 15 October at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL).
Held under the theme “Transforming the Nation through Future-Ready Roads,” MRC 2026 brought together more than 1,000 registered participants from the road engineering and infrastructure sectors. Dura Technology and Dura Sarawak jointly hosted a booth at the exhibition, where we presented our UHPC and precast concrete capabilities to visitors.
The conference’s opening ceremony on 13 October was officiated by YB Dato’ Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi, Minister of Works. The programme also featured Dato’ Sri Ir. Roslan Bin Ismail, President of the Road Engineering Association of Malaysia, who delivered the welcoming address, and Dato’ Seri Azman Bin Ibrahim, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Works, as a plenary speaker. YB Dato’ Seri Haji Ahmad Maslan, Deputy Minister of Works, delivered the closing address on 15 October.
At our booth, we shared our work in advanced concrete and precast systems for infrastructure applications. Our participation highlighted the potential of UHPC solutions to support durable, high-performance infrastructure.
Our joint presence also reflected Dura Sarawak’s regional capabilities and our commitment to supporting infrastructure development in East Malaysia.
We congratulate JKR Sarawak on receiving the Road Engineering Excellence Award 2026 in the Large Scale Projects category for the Muara Lassa Bridge project in Mukah. Spanning 2.43 kilometres, the bridge is an important infrastructure achievement for Sarawak.
We thank everyone who visited our booth and connected with our team during MRC 2026. We look forward to continuing our contribution to Malaysia’s infrastructure sector.
