The Road Engineering Association of Malaysia (REAM) successfully hosted the 12th Malaysian Road Conference & Exhibition 2024 and the 5th International Road Federation Global Asia-Pacific Regional Congress at the World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur from November 5th to 7th. This biennial event, with the theme “Driving Innovation for Better Roads,” was officiated by Malaysia’s Minister of Works, Yang Berhormat Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi.
The conference brought together over 1,000 participants from across Asia, including leading professionals, government officials, and industry experts. The event featured technical presentations, brainstorming sessions, and a showcase of cutting-edge technologies aimed at developing sustainable infrastructure for a prosperous Malaysia MADANI. It also included awards recognizing high achievers, outstanding project management, and exemplary contractors within the region.
